our most popular season-ing

Yep, so right now our diet is lacking in good homemade food. Although I'd like to be experimenting with ginger, curry, and cinammon, instead we eat drive thru, and sandwiches, and cereal for dinner a lot. Not a lot of fabulous seasonings for us during this busy fall season. Because so many days are peppered with after school activities......3 difft soccer teams, scouts, and gymnastics. Piano got put on hold til soccer is off. Maybe we're just doing too much? The kids love their sports and lessons - I'd hate to cut them out completely. But I'm not going to lie and say I don't look forward to the time when it's too cold for lots of this stuff......and no, E1, we're not signing you up for basketball as a cold weather sport! We need a break!

Ethan's team is the Jets, blue jerseys, and he plays offense. Ella Grace's team is the Thunder, green jerseys, and she's defense. Eris' team (not pictured) is the Great White Sharks, and they are ran clinic style, so no real player positions just yet.

And so the race is now on to find Halloween costumes - how about in your house?? Ethan wants to be a soldier. Well, at first it was a dead soldier, but after going to a parade and applauding the vetrans and thinking about it a little, he decided that a live soldier was a better part to play. Ella Grace is going to be Ariel. Eris is a cheerleader. And for Ehren and I we are drawing a big fat blank! I'd LOVE to make him into a chicken as seen here but Brad swears that this would haunt my sweet child the rest of his life.

And I need suggestions for what to dress up as myself! We're going to a wonderfully fun Halloween party on the 11th, and full costume is required for all! Of course, Brad is working that night, so he's off the hook. The children passed on all the group dress up possibilities I came up with - so I need a costume idea that's cheap, comfortable, and warm. C'mon, I know you have a suggestion - do tell! My creative idea for a couple was Brad to be a computer geek (which would have his body encircled in a cardboard desk with computer monitor, keyboard, and mouse at hand, and not overlooking the BC glasses (that's "birth control" glasses for any non-military folk) and pocket protector) and I was to be his mail order bride (wearing a dress of white and using blue USPS priority tape to trim it out). Now my mind is a blank and I need HELP!! No suggestion too silly here people!

Well, this is it

Ain't no turning back now. Nicole tells me I have to do this. Maggie begs. And thus the blogging begins.

No promises as to how often posting will happen. Cause life happening all around us everyday is much more important to keep up with. But I will try!
